There are three main routes to reach La Limonaia by car:

• Through the Apennine Mountains from Parma
• Along the coast from Genoa, passing Cinque Terre
• Up from Rome

All routes typically converge at Lucca, then proceed through the town of Aquilea. The final approach involves a steep turn onto a "strade bianche" (gravel road) that winds through olive trees and vineyards.

The property

The property occupies the end of a hill with three neighboring houses in close proximity. From the terrace, you have an entirely unencumbered view of the valley below and Lucca in the distance.
